I am an Atlanta native, oldest of 5 girls and natural born leader and I wear many hats.  I am a serial entrepreneur, a US Air Force Reserve officer and squadron commander, a community activist and much more.

From childhood, I never had the vision of growing up in simply one career track.

My journey actually began in elementary school with the Teddy Bears Club, a neighborhood initiative that taught me the power of relationship and community-building.   My sister and I would gather a group of friends and host talent shows, bake sales, pool parties, tutoring sessions and other endeavors for the girls and our supporters.

As an Air Force Reserve officer specializing in logistics, I’ve mastered the art of operations and project execution.  I’ve served on operations all over the world and I’ve led upwards of 700 member organizations.

I’ve further honed through my MBA, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, and more than a decade in pharmaceutical operations.  In that industry, I led a team of people engaged in the vaccine manufacturing process and served as project manager of two multi-million-dollar projects and countless other mission critical initiatives.

I have been starting and running businesses ever since the Teddy Bears Club. Currently, I am the owner of Studio Motif, a Durham based event venue hosting countless events each year. I also am a self-taught real estate investor and co-owner of Ephraim Properties, a multi-million-dollar portfolio of 8 properties including three rental properties, two investment properties and a commercial space.

While many insist specialization is the only path to success, I’ve proven that generalists can make powerful impacts by finding the intersection between what they love and what the world needs. I’m passionate about helping others declutter their broad ideas and transform them into meaningful, profitable ventures.

My goal is to continue to be a blessing to my community and ensure I have completed to the last detail, everything I am called to accomplish prior to leaving this earth.
