Behind the MBA, Community Builder, Serial Entrepreneur, Strategist

Society counted me out. A foster care kid… An overt preacher yet covert addict for a father. An immigrant and beautiful soul for a mother. The oldest of five daughters after her second divorce… the responsibility falling on me to help raise the rest.

I wasn’t supposed to be the first in my family to earn a Bachelor’s. I wasn’t supposed to earn my MBA, become a major in the Air Force Reserve, climb the ladder in the pharmaceutical industry or become a successful small business owner a few times over.

But where society counted me out, God was gracious to weave a beautiful tapestry.

Though the journey has not been easy and I’ve encountered many speed bumps along the way, in all I do, I’ve learned to be still and know.
